It is a great honour to be Captain of Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club and on behalf of the Club I am delighted to welcome you to our website.
It is 103 years this year since the first stalwarts began honing their golfing skills on this golf course and although slightly altered over the years it remains a test for the best of golfers. The par three holes have proved a challenge to many a good card and in the teeth of a strong south westerly you can forget you are actually one mile inland from the sea when driving into the breeze!
The modern Clubhouse provides a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and our franchised caterer offers a varied and choice menu. Please peruse our website for further information. Our Manager, Rob Henderson will be only too pleased to provide details regarding Society visits, green fees and hiring our facilities for private functions.
This year sees the inaugural Southern PGA Pro Am (sponsored by Budgens) at Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club which is supported by our own former Ryder Cup Player, Steve Richardson, who began his golfing career here under the tutelage of his father John, who was then our club professional.
We welcome visitors to our Course and hope you will enjoy your golf here and hopefully a celebratory drink afterwards in our Clubhouse.
