Rob Edwards (currently Captain of the Southern Region PGA) returned to the club in 2002 to take over as the Club Professional having once been the assistant pro in the mid 90s before pursuing a playing career on the European and Challenge Tours. Rob maintains a well stocked shop which is an authorised FITTING CENTRE for Titleist and Ping clubs as well as keeping a range of FootJoy shoes, Wilson golf equipment, Kartel clothing, Greg Norman clothing and some excellent accessories. Rob and his assistant Mark Francis, another very capable player in his own right provide lessons for all standards of golfer from total beginner through to the most accomplished of players. Rob is especially proud of his achievements coaching and has a strong reputation as one of the finest coaches in the game.
As for the shop – this is one to visit with a good range of stock, good sound advice and a convivial atmosphere to be enjoyed. The shop also provides a comprehensive repair service including re-gripping, re-shafts and loft & lie alterations.
