It is a great honour to have been elected Captain of Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club for 2009 and I am very pleased to welcome you to our website.
It is 104 years since the first stalwarts began honing their golfing skills on this fine golf course and many improvements over the years have ensured that it remains a test for all standard of golfers. The five par three holes have proved a challenge to many a good card, and in the teeth of a strong southwesterly you can forget you are actually one-mile inland from the sea when driving into the breeze!
Our modern Clubhouse provides a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in which to relax after a good game, and also for the many successful regular social events, which we hold. The franchised caterer offers a varied and interesting menu to satisfy all appetites. Our facilities are available for private functions and society visits, Rob Henderson, our Manager, will be pleased to provide further information about these and any other aspects of the Club in which you are interested.
If you are interested in becoming a member, the Club Manager would be pleased to arrange for you to have a look round and to give you more information. We also welcome visitors to our course in the hope that they will enjoy a challenging game followed by a celebratory drink in the Clubhouse.
